one 'fix' i heard a while back was to let your car idle in a sheltered area so it gets really warm for about 15 mins then take it for a blast and the heat strips off any much on the AFM sensor

i'm not 100% on the reasons it works, but i tried it when i had issues with my 1.8 and it worked ok

it'll be a 1 or 2 bhp difference for that, you'd get a bigger difference just getting rid of the cross-over pipe

did you try fully comp?

fully comp was about £500 cheaper for me on my previous car, not tried tpft again since

as for turbo-ing the 2.2, you could, but the exhaust is at the bulkhead side of the engine so it'd be a HUGE pain in the ass as the room to work is at the front of the engine
